A little help MANNING UP

I've been talking about the phrase MAN UP lately on another blog. I've been working on my own self esteem and confidence. My own insecurities. Learning to be more vulnerable. My own trust issues. How to feel my feelings and speak from my heart in feeling messages.

As far as MAN up goes I've come to realize my part in it. My part is to speak from my heart in feeling messages as much as I can. My hubby told me this morning when he was outside the man that was here the other day wanting to look at the houses stopped by and said he's the new landlord. My hubby let him know we'd be out of the house as soon as we can.

I told my hubby he was going to have to stop acting like he can't do anything. We were in terrible shape. Everything was being left up to myself and our daughter to handle. None of the men in our lives were helping and I couldn't take much more. He told me this afternoon he clean the toy I was trying to get him to clean the other day and he'd said he couldn't.

Then I called our friend(ex landlord) he didn't answer but he called back later. I told him how hurt I was at his handling of the situation. I let the tears go and be heard. For me to do this is amazing I'm NOT the type of person who lets this much vulnerability show. I let him know I didn't blame him for getting out from under the financial responsibility of the houses, however his timing SUCKS which he agree with.

He apologized several times. He said nothing has changed he'd still do all he could to help us. He would use everything within his power to help us. He called me back this afternoon he has some things in the works.

All I can do at this point is keep putting one foot in front of the other and doing the best I can.
